Lovely wild Bamboo Orchids grow in grassy areas.	Hapu'u tree ferns shade the deeper forest.	Kolea, an indigenous tree of the mesic forest.
Lama, a tree sacred to the ancient Hawaiians.	Ohelo, a low-growing plant, makes great jam!	Graceful Mamane turns Ocean View golden in the Spring.
'Ohi'a, the dominant tree, blooms in shades of red, orange and yellow.	The orange form is less common than the red.	Rarest is the yellow. The colors do not come true to seed.
